Thursday October 11, 2012

Well the week has ended for me. I had several students to help at Student Link and then came home to tutor one more. I pressed all my 9 patch squares (72 of them) and then cut all my 9″ solid squares (also 72 of them) and then laid them out in 12 rows of 12. They are now all set to piece into a quilt top. I also received the second round of editing back from my editor and she really likes my novel which was just so fantastic to hear. She liked all the changes I’d made after the first round and there isn’t nearly so much to do now and I do like the suggestions she has made. Tonight, in a really rare happening, I will be going out with a friend to hear Kaffe Fassett speak at the Vashon Theatre. He is the designer for some absolutely fantastic fabric which I have used in all my bed quilts and many others as well. It will be fun to hear him speak even if it is an evening event. Cynthia offered to drive and I sure appreciate that. It will make for a later night than I am used to, but heck, it is the end of the week and hopefully I won’t end up too tired. So that’s it for now.
