Today has been a beautiful sunny day, making two in a row.  I decided to take advantage of the day and work outside, taking down all the rest of the outside lights.  I had to be creative in their storage after I ran out of the holders I had gotten, but everything is now put away and I hope if I need them next winter that they won’t be a horrible jumbled mess.  But that is months away and for now they are stored and the yard is back to normal.  While I was doing the lights I saw a lovely little caterpillar as well as the first snow drops which had opened as well as other bulbs just starting to sprout.  After that I practiced my guitar and then read more of Les Miserables.  I am nearly done and I have certainly been enjoying it.

  1. While it hasn’t been all that ‘bad’ of a winter…the up and down fluctuation have finally gotten to my head and nose. I’m so looking forward to spring this year! I boo-booed my toe the other week, so I haven’t venture much into the yard to see if any bulbs are sprouting, but the silver maples have had buds for at least a week.
    Cheers.

    • Our winter has been basically non-existent, but then so was last summer. We’ve been staying in the 40’s and 50’s this winter and 50’s and 60’s last summer. It is weird. Hope your toe heals fast!
