Chauncey got us all up at 6:30 this morning, which was not my idea of a good plan but it did allow me to do an hour and a half of quilting before my morning therapy appointment. I worked on the binding of the quilts and made good progress. After my therapy appointment and an errand, I got back to the quilting and I succeeded in finishing all seven quilts! I wrote about the process on my Random Thoughts blog and posted photos as well. I also found out that I’d received royalty earnings today, a whopping $59.50! Shows that my first novel has actually sold some copies! Very exciting! I am looking forward to a very quiet weekend of reading and playing my guitar after all the quilting I’ve done since last Saturday. I have to admit that I am tired and my pain levels are too high, but it was well worth it.

That’s great, Daphne!
Do you have any idea how many copies your book has sold so far?
I hope you feel better with a good night’s rest. π
Thanks, Lydia. I am enjoying resting! And no, I have no idea how many copies, but I think they were primarily Kindle books,or so I am guessing, in which case I think it was somewhere between seven and ten. It is really thrilling!
Wonderful!
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help promote it. I haven’t finished reading it yet but am enjoying the story quite a bit. π
Thanks so much, Lydia! Just knowing that you are enjoying it means a lot! And if you know someone who might also enjoy it, feel free to recommend it. I so appreciate your support! Have a lovely day!
