Happy April Fool’s Day! I didn’t have to worry about it at all because I was home and saw no one except Drew, my hot tub valet, and Lance, my pond/yard guy. I should have had a student, but he must have forgotten, so my day was free from pranks, thankfully. I did some household chores, including changing my sheets since I couldn’t remember when I’d last done that and I suspect that isn’t good. I usually wait until a cat coughs up a fur ball, etc., but thankfully that hasn’t happened in a long time. And my past experience, which I hope won’t be repeated, is that the minute there are clean sheets on the bed they get hit. But it was way past time and I got a koala body pillow today so needed to pull the bed apart to get that properly situated anyway. Otherwise, I reorganized a closet and then spent much of the day reading. I finished The Attenbury Emeralds. I shall now move on to the Maise Dobbs novels. A new one was just released (#10, I believe), so I am going to start with #1 and work my way through.

  1. I survived too, probably due to it also being Easter Bank Holiday so less opportunity for tricks as I was home all day!
