I have had a busy day of quilting. I started by quilting my bed quilt. It took me about three hours, but it went really well. I really love Fiona, my long arm quilter! Just as I was finishing up, UPS arrived with my new rainbow pride flag (well, two of them so I have a back-up). So as soon as I was done quilting my quilt, I got out my eight foot ladder. I had to stand on the next to the top step and the ground wasn’t quite level, so I found it definitely scary. I had to use cable ties to hang the flag since I wasn’t tall enough to loosen the brackets, but it is definitely secure and it looks fantastic. I am so happy to have my rainbow pride flag back. I then squared my quilt and cut the binding. I am hoping that tomorrow I will be able to sew the binding and then bind the quilt. With any luck, it will be on my bed by the end of tomorrow! I was able to get a nap and also start another book. It has been a most productive and enjoyable day.
