I started the day with a lukewarm shower because I had a wonderful snail on the floor of the shower and I didn’t have time to wait for the snail to move away. I was afraid that my regular shower temperature would not be healthy for the snail, and I had a doctor’s appointment so I couldn’t just putter around the house waiting for the snail to move on. My doctor and I discussed my thyroid dosage and she decided to have me go back to the dosage I’d been on for months. One of my thyroid readings was high, but not alarmingly so, and the slight decrease she made two weeks left me doing significantly worse. On top of that, school starts next week, which will mean more stress and more stress will mean the high thyroid levels will probably drop. Hopefully things will sort out now. After that, Anja called me to let me know that our favorite fabric representative was at the store, so I went over to check out the new season’s fabrics and I found a lot of both flannel and regular fabrics that I really like and I think will be good for all the graduation quilts I will be making. I came home and relaxed, reading and napping. It has been a busy but productive day.

Fun. I drool in fabric stores because I love both color and texture…but I’m not much of a seamstress, I’m afraid.
Thanks, Victoria! I also am not a seamstress, but I can sew straight seams and piece quilts which I really enjoy!
