I spent the morning finishing the two quilts I’m making for Josie’s fifth birthday. There was a croaking/chirping frog outside my window who definitely helped me in my work. Then I went over to Student Link to deliver the bookcases I’m donating and also to help Nan decide on how to arrange the room. There is still a lot to do, but we made good progress and Nan felt much better about the space. She also gave me a list of books which we still need and I ordered them. We will have most of them by Thursday. I worked in my yard, removing a few dead items and also cleaning mole mounds and strawberry plants my front rainbow walkway. This week I will start having students arriving again, so I wanted things to be ready for them. That was more than enough for one day, so I spent the remainder of the afternoon reading a very good fantasy novel that I just started. I’m now about 1/2 way through it and I’m really enjoying it.
