I have had a mixed day. On the positive side, I finished all the little pillows to go with Josie’s other birthday gifts and I managed to get them all packaged up ready to ship. I shall take them to the UPS shipper after Student Link tomorrow to send them on their way. It should only take one day to get to Seattle even by ground shipping, but I don’t trust it and I want to be sure Josie has the presents by Saturday. So I’ll send them out tomorrow. I also did some weeding in my yard. And I had a lovely tutoring session with my Latin student. In addition to all that good stuff, I spent two hours on the phone with CenturyLink techs (two different calls to two different techs), and I still don’t have a secondary e-mail. It is very frustrating, but I have moved up in the company hierarchy and a tech is supposed to call me tomorrow mid-afternoon. And with that, I’m calling it a day.

    • Thanks, Lydia. I started Josie’s presents in early August and it has been a lovely project. I hope she enjoys them all. And yes, tech support can really be challenging. I will say that everyone at Century Link has been very nice. It is just frustrating that it has taken so long and I still don’t know when I will get it sorted. I am glad that now I have someone calling me so I am not stuck on hold for ages and ages. Thanks again!
