Sunday October 13, 2013

I spent the morning working on my Children’s Writing I class, reading the lecture, posting answers to the lecture questions, and then writing and posting my first assignment. Then I also wrote my poem, Lost Childhood, for The Sunday Whirl and read the poems posted by others. My outside chore for today was to remove all the colored rocks and marbles from a pot by my front door so that the tree which is in the pot can be transplanted during the “great move,” as I’m terming the relocation of all the trees that have overgrown their current locations. After that I settled in on the couch to read the book I thought I was reading yesterday (see yesterday’s post for the weird details). I’m not sure where the time went, but it is now nearly 8PM and the book is finished. I just couldn’t put it down! Calliope slept on top of me while I read and I really can’t think of a better way to spend my time! But now everyone thinks that I’d better get us fed, so that’s it for today.
