What a wonderful day I have had. First off, I did my assignment for my Children’s Writing class–I don’t think I did it the way the teacher intended, but it is done. And then I went back to what I am really loving, namely my current novel. I didn’t think I could top yesterday’s word count but during the night and in the hot tub this morning I planned out the next four chapters (only got to three of them today) and everything was just falling into place. I couldn’t type fast enough and I ended up when I finally was too tired to do any more, with a new personal best of 10,575 words for the day!! And my total word count is now past the NaNoWriMo challenge as I have 53,426 words written. I am not sure how many more there will be–my protagonist will let me know, I’m sure, but I’m thinking maybe 60,000 word book. Anyway, when I stopped for the day I took a nap and then decided to try The Sunday Whirl challenge after all. The words just really fit my current obsession. I called it The Journey.
