I managed to accomplish a number of things that I’d been looking forward to today. In addition to the regular Saturday chores, I read another 13 chapters of my first draft so that I have now finished editing the first sixteen chapters out of a total of thirty. I think I’m nearing the 1/2 way mark. I remember that the later chapters are longer. I have to admit I am really enjoying my story! My goal is to have it in reasonable shape by a week from Monday so I can then send it off to CreateSpace for their professional comprehensive editing. After that, I switched to cutting fabric and I think I have the fabric cut for the smaller of my next two quilts which are for a single mom and her three-year-old daughter. I made some calculations in my head to modify a pattern and I’m not convinced I thought it all through just right, but time will tell. And then I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing the novel I was reading and writing its review. Time now to call it a day!
