I have had a lovely quiet day. There was a lot of fog on and off so I heard many foghorns, which I just love. It was especially nice to sit in the hot tub in my sunny backyard this morning and hear the foghorn going on a barge as it moved from the north end of the island around to the south. Later, as I was writing at my desk, I again was able to enjoy a foghorn chorus. I started a story on my Flash Fiction blog (it has been way too long) and I think I’m going to do it in parts. I so love reading the story my friend @TorontoLydia has been writing for awhile now, that I feel inspired to try to do a continued story as well. She has a brilliant way of ending with a cliffhanger and I didn’t do that today, but maybe in the future. After that, I pieced most of the smaller quilt top from the set of two that I am currently working on. I just need to put on the border, which I may do tomorrow. I also had a chance to read more of a very exciting book I started yesterday. It has been a lovely day!

Not sure I would want to sit in my yard at the moment, not even in a hot tub!
Well, I’m sure your yard is much colder! It is nippy getting from my bedroom to the hot tub, but thankfully it isn’t very far and it is well worth it!
Aww, thank you. ๐
Please do continue your story. I’m looking forward to see what happens next!
I plan to. I have missed posting flash fiction (well, writing it as well), and I have been so inspired by your story that I thought I’d try that instead. I’m thinking about once/week or so, again, as you have modeled. I’d better get going on it though! Have to stay ahead of the readers! ๐
