I have had a lovely day. I began with the usual Saturday chores, including picking up the dog poop, which I decided to do barefooted and that worked really well! I was a lot more careful where I walked and when I was done, I only had to rinse the grass off my feet. It was a bit nippy, but it felt nice to walk in the grass. After that, I had the pleasure of writing thank you notes for my wonderful holiday presents, on actual cards as well as on lovely e-cards!! Then I worked more on my novel revisions. I’m not quite half way yet, but I can say that I like my novel more each time I read it. Then while the cats slept, I worked more of the lovely jigsaw puzzle Eric, Kelly, and Josie gave me for Christmas. It has been a long time since I’ve done a puzzle. I just stopped because it was too hard with the fur friends. The cats would bat the pieces onto the floor where one of the dogs would promptly eat it. But this puzzle, filled with dragons and castles, is too good to pass up, so I got myself a piece of plexiglass to put on top of the puzzle when I’m not working it. Calliope can’t figure out why she is unable to get the pieces to shift, but I am thrilled.
