I began the day with my therapy appointment, but my second appointment with my osteopath was cancelled. I’m sorry she is sick, but I was glad to have more time at home. This is the last weekend before school resumes and I want it to last as long as it possibly can. I finished the second quilt top and I am determined to get both quilts done by Tuesday. Then I worked some more on my puffin jigsaw puzzle which is rather tricky as it consists of puffins, grass, and a green backdrop and it all runs together. But I am enjoying the challenge. My sister let me know yesterday how much her granddaughter is enjoying my second novel, The Egg That Wouldn’t Hatch, and asked if it would be okay if Trysta called me to talk about it. I was thrilled to have such an enthusiastic reader (well, actually my sister is reading the novel to her as Trysta is just six years old), and so this afternoon I had a wonderful conversation with both Trysta and Stephanie, with some side remarks by Trysta’s younger sister, Jasmine. It was very lovely. I’ve started another review book as well. Time now though to call it a day. Calliope is standing next to me wondering when we are going to get to the sauna.
