My fur companions are not convinced that waiting for breakfast is a good plan. I keep telling them that I’m at Camp NaNoWriMo this month and they’d better be glad it is a virtual camp. I’ve been writing for the first 60 to 90 minutes of my day when I’m fresh and all the ideas I’ve come up with during the night, or which my characters have devised while I sleep, can spill onto the page. I now have a prologue and five chapters and my word count is 12,564 words. Yay Camp NaNoWriMo!! I also did the first lesson in my online haibun class. I wouldn’t have signed up for the class if I’d paid attention to the dates, but so far so good. There are just four assignments and I’ve completed the first. The class runs for four weeks. I started a new puzzle and I have the border done except for one piece I have yet to locate. I have another quilt top nearly completed. I refrained from pushing myself to finish it today as I have a long way to go to finish nine quilts by June, so I need to be sure I don’t overdo. I read for a bit and even managed to sneak in a short nap. It has been a lovely day!

day by day
the words add up
piecing most
of a quilt top
a new puzzle
