It felt so weird this morning not to go to Camp NaNoWriMo! Of course Thackeray had me up at the same time, 6:15AM, so I got lots done before I left for student link. I tutored students and marked papers, and it all went pretty well. I came home and drove into the garage only to have my garage door stop again. It won’t go up or down. I tried to turn Eglantine around in the garage. She is a small car, after all, and the garage is pretty large. But I couldn’t manage it, so I had to get out my 8ft ladder and prop it up against the door to hold it up high enough for me to get her out of the garage. I then put her in the other side of the garage, but I don’t know how long it is going to be until this door is actually fixed. After all that fun, I tutored two students and also sent an e-mail off to the landscape architect to see when the guy he recommended could come to drain the ponds and relocate the fish. Our weather has turned warm and it is to be in the 80’s over the next few days. The pond pumps are clogged and I can watch the algae growing on the surface of the ponds. It is very stressful and I’m worried about my fish, so even if the new can’t happen for awhile, I want the ponds drained in the next week or so. I’m still waiting to hear back.
