I have definitely done too much, but the back pond is now nearly ready for dirt (which I hope happens on Wednesday). A friend found a home for all the stepping stones that were inside and around both ponds. I don’t have the exact count, but there were well over a hundred of them and they got taken away today. Then I decided to try to get the pond liners out of the turtle pond. I managed, but really shouldn’t have. However, I really like the view out my kitchen window much better. I’m not sure if I’ll have a student working tomorrow, but if so, I plan to have him help me get the liners out of the front pond. Then both ponds will be nearly ready to be filled. Paco will still have to take out the pumps and their housings since I can’t get them freed up, but still, with help I managed a lot.
