I began adding appliques to my background for the quilt I am attempting.  I began with a purple bear cut from minky fabric and that wasn’t the easiest thing I could have tried.  It is harder to sew than regular cotton, but it is wonderfully soft.  I’m pleased with my progress so far.  Then I realized that planning the scene might be a good idea so I’m going to try drawing something out to get an idea of what I want.  I worked on my jigsaw puzzle as well and I nearly have it 1/3 done.  I read over half of a new review book, sitting outside on my deck and that was very pleasant.  My fur friends say it is time to call it a day, so that’s it for now.
