I had a lovely start to the day, writing another chapter at Camp NaNoWriMo.  It really makes me feel so alive when I do this!  Then I went back to my friend’s house and I managed to get her system working as far as I could.  She can now play both CD’s and DVD’s.  The cable isn’t working because it isn’t turned on at the house but it took two phone calls to Comcast to convince them of that.  They are supposed to come out on Sunday afternoon to check things out and I plan to be there to ask any questions just in case.  Then I saw my osteopath after which I tutored my student in Latin and ancient history.  I am tired and very sore after the last two days, but feeling much better now that I actually managed to make headway.  Tomorrow should be a very quiet day at home, which I am really looking forward to.  Right now there are fireworks going off in the neighborhood even though it’s just 5:30, so it is going to be a long night.  This is my least favorite holiday on so many levels, but I’m hoping it won’t be too hard on my fur friends.
