I woke up this morning and realized that I hadn’t read any chapters this week in the ancient history text my student and I are working our way through and his tutoring time was today.  So I spent the morning reading three chapters and when he came in the afternoon, I was happy to discover I was ahead of him.  We discussed what he had read and then translated some Cicero, slightly adapted for first year students.  I also did a bit of weeding in the yard, and then went to an appointment.  I had time to work on my puzzle and I’m pleased to see that it is finally beginning to come together.  There is still a lot more to go, but I can see that I have made significant progress and that is nice.  I’m loving the cooler, cloudy weather and we even had some misting rain.

  1. We were supposed to get another storm yesterday…but it never did arrive. Very humid here.
Once outside you for about ten minutes and You are dripping! 🙂

    • I really don’t like drinking my air! I remember the summer humidity from all my years in the midwest. Sure hope your storm comes, at least enough to break the humidity. We’ve had a ton of rain today and I think there is to be more tomorrow. Stay dry! 🙂
