I am glad that the work week has come to an end, but it has been a good one. I started the day with another training session with Oliver’s behavior consultant. He wasn’t at all interested in moving, but eventually he did go through the maze. Otherwise, he stood and shook and stared at Suzi, our consultant. We’re going to try some new things, including possibly an animal communicator. After that, I had two students to tutor (two others cancelled). One student needed an hour and a half, so it was good that the student after her had cancelled. And my second student decided to change geometry books and we now have one that is challenging and at the same time, a lot of fun, exploring geometry from many different perspectives. Both of us really enjoyed going over his work, figuring out the problems that had stumped him and laughing at the jokes the author makes. We are both glad that he’s switched to this book. And speaking of books, I received the final proof copy of my next book and I’ve approved it. The Girl, the Gryphon, and the Dragon is now published and available on Amazon.com. I should be receiving my comp copies soon and will then begin handing them out. The Kindle version will be available shortly. It is all very exciting and I’m getting pumped up to write another at NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November!
