Have you ever wondered who designs the soap dispensers in washing machines? I do every time I have to clean mine. There are so many hard to reach spots. I’m guessing that whoever designs them never cleans them. Anyway, I did a bunch of minor chores like this today and also put a new post on my Random Thoughts blog–I’m going to try to write a post a week on it. We’ll see how that goes. I did some weeding and also removed a dead tree. Thankfully I got all that done before we had a very heavy rain shower. And there was even a tornado watch for the county next to mine, the first since the late 90’s. The weather was weird for sure. After a orange sunset, we now have very loud thunder with lightning (and Oliver is unhappy about that). Then I sewed the first square on my next quilt which has a total of twenty squares. I’m hoping to do a lot more on the quilt tomorrow when I won’t be cleaning soap dispensers. I started my next puzzle, a 1000 piece puzzle with a dragon and a fairy. After my last puzzle which had 2000 pieces, this one seems quite small. The nice thing is that Calliope’s cat bed fits on the table without covering up any of the puzzle.
