I woke up this morning with intense pain in both knees. It was very discouraging because yesterday I thought I was doing better. I finally decided (or was forced) to take it easy today. I’ve only got 5000+ steps, 9 active minutes, and 2.25 miles, but on the plus side, my knees are feeling a lot better. I did struggle through a walk for Oliver because I really didn’t want to break our pattern or disappoint him, but we just went .5 miles. I was able to start my day with my writing and I now have the first chapter of my next novel written with a total of 3028 words. National Novel Writing Month (hereafter known as NaNoWriMo2014) is off and running!! Then I sewed the back for my sister’s quilt, pinned it, quilted it, and finally squared it. I’ve also cut the binding so I hope to finish it and pack it up tomorrow so I can ship it out to her on Monday. After that I started a new fun puzzle called The Mouse House. Now it’s time to start changing clocks back.

I’m sorry to hear of today’s pain and resulting limitations. I would tell you not to push yourself too much, but then I remember how I respond to those words.
Hope tomorrow is better. 🙂
Thanks so much! Yes, I don’t listen to those comments really well. That’s what’s landed me where I am, but I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to work my way back to my former levels. 🙂
Ouch! That must be disappointing. Here’s hoping your knees feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, Lydia. I’ve lowered my goals for the moment to 5000 steps, 2.25 miles, and 10 active minutes. Not sure I’m going to manage that today, but I know my previous goals are definitely out of reach at the moment at least. 🙂
Thanks, Libby! So do I. At least I don’t have to walk for National Novel Writing Month! 🙂
