I can’t believe how quickly my winter break has gone! It’s over half over and Tuesday seems way too close. And it hasn’t been anywhere near as relaxing as I’d hoped, but then life has a way of intervening. However, I did get my book edited and submitted and today I finished my first collage quilt. It’s been a learning experience and I still have to refine my techniques, but I’m very happy with my dragon quilt, which has happy dinosaur flannel on the back. I spent the afternoon working on my puzzle and I think I’ve really made some excellent progress. I don’t know if I’ll get it finished before the end of break, but I’ll be close I think. It was six years ago today when I took my first outdoor shower, and I’ve not used anything else since then. I was very quickly hooked!!

You have been busy, the quilt looks great.
Nice job with the quilt.
Thanks, Libby! Finally got to make a dragon quilt just for me, with dinosaurs on the back!
Thanks so much, Lydia! I really wanted a dragon quilt for me and I love the dinosaur flannel on the back. π
You’re welcome.
Did you use someone else’s pattern for it or did you come up with your own? (Or maybe patterns are only for sewing your own clothing? I don’t know much about quilting. π )
There are a ton of quilt patterns and when I first started I used a really simple one. Now, more times than not, I design my own, which I did with this one. Thanks for asking! π
